ضريب شاتونی - Rod to Stroke Ratios
براي بدست آوردن ضريب شاتوني به دو عدد نياز داريم :
1- طول شاتون
2- كورس ميلنگ
طول شاتون رو از دو مركز گژن پين به مركز ميلنگ حساب ميكنن.
حاصل تقسيم طول شاتون بر كورس ميلنگ مساوي است با ضريب شاتوني.
به عنوان مثال اگر كورس ميلنگ(كورس پيستون) 83 و طول شاتون 90 باشه ضريب شاتوني ميشه :
90/83 =>>1.084
در تئوري هرچه ضريب شاتوني بيشتر باشه قدرت موتور هم بيشتر ميشه.

One; is that if you go back to basics of a simple machine the pistons, crank and rods are basically a compound lever. The up and down movement of the piston translates into rotational motion of the crank. In an engine, a longer rod can make more rotational TQ from the same piston force because it's a longer lever!
